Society Rules
1 Event Count back:-
3.1In the event of a tie the best score for the last 9 holes will be used.If still a tie the last 6 will be used and then the last 3 holes until an outright winners is found.
2 Golfer of the year:-
2.1.You must have played a minimum of 6 events during the year ( Apr - Mar ) to qualify for this award.
2.2.The winner will be the person with the best OVERALL points in the 6 events. See SCORING SYSTEM 2012 - 13.
2.3 Full membership must have been paid.
3 Membership
3.1. Annual membership fees will be £15. This is payable at the first event that you play having decided to join the society. Having paid this it entitles the member to enter any event and other competition and be eligible for trophy awards, etc.
3.2 Any person joining midway during the year the membership fees may be adjusted accordingly and at the discretion of the society.
4 Guest members
4.1. Any guest is entitled to play in any of the monthly events however they will not be entitled to win any of the event trophies. If they wish to enter the longest drive or nearest the pin competition that is fine and they will be eligible for one of these trophies.
4.2. Guests cannot enter the knockout competition.
5 New members
5.1 Where possible new members need to provide evidence of their handicap.
5.2 Any new member will not be eligible for event prizes on the first 3 events played. These will be deemed a qualification game for handicap purposes. ( Added 17/10/11).
6 Slow play
6.1 Due to golf course requirements you must ensure that we avoid slow play at all times.
7 R&A Standards
7.1 Society events and competions will be played to R&A rules. www.randa.org
