11 Handicap for Winners and Runners up:-
11.1. The winner of each golf day will be deducted up to 3 full points.
11.2. The 2nd place person of each golf day will be deducted up to 2 full points
11.3. The 3rd place person of each golf day will be deducted up to 1 full point.
11.4. The full amount deducted will be decided by the handicap category you play in.
12 Handicap General Play:-
12.1 Any player who scores below30 points will be awarded 0.1 or 0.2 points to their handicap.
12.2 Any player scoring above 36 points will have up to 0.4 points deducted from their handicap per point. If this person is the event winner or runner up they will also have the winning 3 points or runners up points deducted as well.
12.3 The points deducted will vary depending on the handicap category each player is playing in.
12.4 Full details can be seen in the table in the link at the top of this page.
12.4 Winners of tournaments or major events will have 1 point removed from their handicap. This includes, Player of the year, Tour cup, S & M Cup and Major events. It does not include The magic Hole or the S & M Plate.
12.5 Whilst the society will produce a handicap for society purposes if any player produces there own handicap and this handicap is better then the society produced handicap the personal handicap may be used. e.g. If society handicap is 24 and personal handicap is 22, the 22 handicap will be used and tracked in the society.
